Peace by Piece Class

My sweet sister got me a jewelry class I had my eye on for my birthday. This is the 3rd one I have been to at the Colorado Bead Co. Every time it's so much fun and I always learn new techniques!
The class I went to today is called "Peace by Piece"... basically piecing together several techniques to make one beautiful necklace! I think it was very fun (even though it was 3 hours long!) and I loved the necklace that I made!

This first picture is a close up of the 3 strands I mixed...

This one is a close up of the beading i did on the loops on one part of the chain...
This one just shows the leather tie we did on one side of the necklace...
 Here's the whole shebang!
Here is one that is a close up of the three strands on the other side connecting in a cone! Super cool!
Here I am modeling it, as requested by mom! :)

OHHH,... and here are the earrings I made my sister Angela last week - I have so many more ideas now I have to get on it! Going to make her some more like this with specific colors though!

Been slow... but here's a few more...

I have made a few new things... it got so hectic these last few months! Take a look! :)

The top 2 are things I made my mom for her 60th birthday, the bottom 2 are still up for grabs, possibly by myself!

Christmas Gift...

One gift from my Mom that I love is my new Beading Organizer! I think it's meant for other things but it works perfect for me! Check it out!

Catching up!

I have made so many things... sold some stuff and made a bunch more for a party my sister is having! I feel so busy and need to make more time to put some thought into stuff again, but below are some of my recent creations! Enjoy!

Random creations!

These earrings are just a  bunch of small, simple earrings I made in a variety of colors. My mom mentioned she liked smaller ones since she has short hair so I thought I'd surprise her with a wide variety of colors to pick from! I hope she likes the style!

These earrings I made for Kendra. I found the fun beads at the convention and thought of her instantly. Not only are they PARTY ROCK, they are totally fun for normal wear! :) I added a little sparkle to the top to make them BLING!

And finally this necklace is an idea I stole from my friend Sarah. Turns out it was a great way to use up some of the small beads I hadn't been using, and it turned out SUPER pretty. I can't wait to make some more like this! Now I need to order some more SMALL beads! :) I thought my mom would love it, but I got done and realized I LOVED IT. So i'm keeping it. I can always make her another one! :)

Christmas Tree Idea

I had seen some Christmas tree earrings made out of beads, and thought they were kind of fun. I know mostly old ladies wear them with their sweaters... but thought I'd make them anyway cause I like them! I found all the beads I needed to make them at the bead convention, so I put together a few styles to test out which ones I like most. So far I really like the green with red, but I will probably still make a ton of them regardless. Any requests for Christmas gifts - I'll sell these for $3 each! (or 5 for $10). :) I can also make them into a pendant on a necklace if preferred, prices for those would be $5-7 each. Leave a comment or email me at LR_MILLER@LIVE.COM if you are interested!
