Catching up!

I have made so many things... sold some stuff and made a bunch more for a party my sister is having! I feel so busy and need to make more time to put some thought into stuff again, but below are some of my recent creations! Enjoy!

Random creations!

These earrings are just a  bunch of small, simple earrings I made in a variety of colors. My mom mentioned she liked smaller ones since she has short hair so I thought I'd surprise her with a wide variety of colors to pick from! I hope she likes the style!

These earrings I made for Kendra. I found the fun beads at the convention and thought of her instantly. Not only are they PARTY ROCK, they are totally fun for normal wear! :) I added a little sparkle to the top to make them BLING!

And finally this necklace is an idea I stole from my friend Sarah. Turns out it was a great way to use up some of the small beads I hadn't been using, and it turned out SUPER pretty. I can't wait to make some more like this! Now I need to order some more SMALL beads! :) I thought my mom would love it, but I got done and realized I LOVED IT. So i'm keeping it. I can always make her another one! :)

Christmas Tree Idea

I had seen some Christmas tree earrings made out of beads, and thought they were kind of fun. I know mostly old ladies wear them with their sweaters... but thought I'd make them anyway cause I like them! I found all the beads I needed to make them at the bead convention, so I put together a few styles to test out which ones I like most. So far I really like the green with red, but I will probably still make a ton of them regardless. Any requests for Christmas gifts - I'll sell these for $3 each! (or 5 for $10). :) I can also make them into a pendant on a necklace if preferred, prices for those would be $5-7 each. Leave a comment or email me at LR_MILLER@LIVE.COM if you are interested!

Bead Show!

I went to my very first ever bead convention. My friend Sarah and I are newbies to this whole world, and probably could have bought a ton more than we did! There was tons of beads, parts, chains, etc - all at pretty reasonable prices! Here are a few pictures of the stuff they had! I am very happy with my final collection of stuff!

Couple more projects

I received some fun silver ball things in the mail from my mom last week - didn't have many so made them into cute, simple earrings. I have enough people I share them with that we all get a pair! :)

I also had a request to make my step-mother Carol a special item for her birthday- Hopefully she doesn't see this! :) She likes simple things and blue and brown. I had the perfect set of beads and I hope she really likes this as much as I do.

Getting creative!

I haven't updated my blog much lately - but I took some time out today to make a few pairs of requested earrings for a family friend. She liked a pair of earrings that I had made my mom, so I went on a search to find the same parts again and get her some earrings! I made her three colors, as requested!

While I was out shopping for beads, I saw these earring hooks and had mentioned to my sister that I wanted to try making some "kidney" earrings. The name is because the wire is supposed to be in the shape of the kidney. Well, right out of the package, they didn't look like they were supposed to, I knew I was going to have a little challenge creating them to be the right shape. Here is the before picture:

And after, I created a nice set to match a necklace I made for myself (gasp!). I bought a new brown skirt for my new job and though the necklace would look cute for the fall - and no better time to test out making these earrings than now! Here is my final project :

Before & After

I had my friend Michele send me this picture of a bracelet she saw and liked (above) and I thought I'd try to mimick it for her. I know I didnt have any gold chains, but I did have silver chains and some charms of starfish and shells already! I asked her the colors she liked and she told me blues and greens. I know it's not exactly the same, but I was trying to avoid having to go buy more supply! I think i did a pretty good job!

Bright Colors

I made this necklace with some beads and chain that my sister Angela found for me. She asked me to make it for her friend, and I really liked the way it turned out! I might be making another one! :)

I even make myself stuff .... sometimes!

So I made the top set for my fancy night at the Rio coming up. Figured it looks pretty with what I want to wear! :) I also made the green earrings just to mess around. Kendra might like them, but I know they are too big for most people's taste. I like em, i'll keep em! :)

Special Requests

Ok so I know my camera phone is just not cutting it, but at least you get the idea! These 2 earring/necklace sets were made for my mom with beads she picked out. I made my sister this charm style bracelet that she had mentioned she would like some pink beads. I think these all turned out great, just wish i had some more inspiration to make something even more creative, I feel like I sometimes make the same styles with different beads all the time. That's fun, too - but I would like to try new things also!

Earrings again!

I had my laptop break on me so I couldn't update my blog, or get online last week much. I had a lot of spare time so I made a lot of items! These earrings are all ones I made last week. Some are specific beads my mom wanted, some are just for fun, and some have already found their new home with friends and family! :)
