Green and Silver Set

My sister had liked the jewelry I made her so much, she asked me to make some for her friend's birthday. She picked out the beads and I made her a matching set. I have enough beads leftover I am thinking about making a matching necklace, too! I personally am not a big fan of the green, but it was fun to make and turned out really pretty! It's her friends favorite color so I hope she likes it!

The earrings you may recognize from the ones I made my sister. She loved the style so much we did the same ones again! :)

Purple and Silver Necklace

My mom bought some purple beads that were REALLY pretty - they had a shimmer to them and I thought they would look great with Silver! I had some silver beads with a leaf pattern engraved and some large silver dented hoops that I used with her strand of purple beads to create this necklace. It's about 32" long and I actually like it so much I might have to make myself one! I hope she likes it too!

More fun!

Today I went and got a few more supplies, since I had a lot of ideas saved on my computer that I wanted to try. I am going to see my older sister Angela on Friday, so I thought I'd make her something nice to give her when she comes. She had emailed me a couple pictures of things she liked, so I did my take on them and tried to make something special for her! I hope she likes them. Doing this stuff also makes me realize that maybe a camera BESIDES my cell phone is in order! :) Anyway, I really like the bracelet I made her, think I'll make one for me and my mom also - just need to stock up on some more "parts" first!

Starting my new hobby!

I just recently came up with the idea that I would like to make my own jewelry. I was constantly on the search for certain styles and colors, and never able to find it. I knew exactly what I wanted, and figured I might as well make it myself! I am only beginning,... I got a kit that shows you the basics and my wonderful sister and mother have been letting me try out my skills on jewelry for them! These are the first few things I made. Can't wait to get more supplies and ideas! It's really fun! :)
